Zachary Scott Robbins

Superintendent

Dr. Zachary Scott Robbins is a superintendent and experienced school leader known for turning around secondary schools and advancing educational equity. A former English teacher, he has presented nationally on restorative practices and trains school leaders in building effective restorative justice programs. He is the author of The Teachers Black Students Need and Restorative Justice Tribunal: And Ways to Derail Jim Crow Discipline in Schools. His work offers practical strategies for creating inclusive school environments while addressing implicit bias, cultural competency, and continuous school improvement. Dr. Robbins earned his undergraduate degree from Howard University and his doctorate in educational administration from the Boston College Lynch School of Education.
