Erika Kersey is a professional learning coordinator in Virginia. Before her current position, she was an elementary teacher, most recently in gifted education. She holds two masters degrees, one in curriculum and instructional design and another in administration and supervision. In addition, Erika is a National Board certified teacher in exceptional needs/gifted education. She has been involved in education for more than 22 years serving learners across the United States in New York, Wyoming, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Virginia. She is a mother of six and stepmother to four. Erika is passionate about empowering students and teachers to find joy in learning.
