I am certified English, Math and Special Education teacher located in Tennessee. I serve children in urban areas, and I have had a passion for teaching ever since I can remember. I am currently completing my PhD in Educational Research at the University of Memphis. I am interested in Affect Theory, Arts-Based Research, and Post-Qualitative Research. I am a member of the University of Memphis's Qualitative Inquiry Circle and participated in New Memphis's Embark and Teach Plus Policy Fellowship.
